High frequency tube mill are highly customized machines, and getting the right one can save you time, money, and a lot of trouble. Watch out for these 4 important things before buying.

1.Pipe Material & Sizes

First, consider the material and size (diameter & thickness) of pipes you want to produce — this directly determines the model of the tube mill, as each machine has its own production range. At the same time, the more specific your specifications are, the better. They directly impact the number of mold sets required for production.

2.Application Field

Second, think about where the pipes will be used. Pipes used for decoration and those used in industrial applications require different quality standards. Decorative pipes need a perfect surface, while industrial pipes focus on strength. That means you’ll need different machine setups to meet different standards.

3.Production Capacity

Third, how much do you plan to produce? Your required output will directly impact the type of machine you need. TIG welding, laser welding, and high-frequency welding machines offer different speeds and efficiencies. Choosing the right welding method is key to meeting your capacity goals.

4.Factory Space Requirements

Factory size is another important factor to consider. Different types of tube mills require different amounts of space.

For example, a TIG (argon arc) welding tube mill typically needs at least 30 meters in length and 10 meters in width;  While a high-frequency welded tube mill usually requires around 45 meters in length and 15 meters in width.

Make sure your workshop is large enough.
